Why we started Ekstrahjelpen
We have personal experience of how demanding it can be when someone you care about needs more help in everyday life.
Often, it is not medical care that is needed, but all the small things that still need to be taken care of. This may include grocery shopping, collecting mail, taking out the rubbish, technical problems, simple errands or other practical tasks.
For many family members, it can also be difficult to manage everything alongside work, family and other responsibilities. Ekstrahjelpen can take care of some of the practical tasks, giving family members more time to simply be family.
